Big Ben stopped, Palace of Westminster, London, 2005. View of the famous clock tower of the Palace of Westminster which houses the clock and 13-ton bell known as Big Ben. The clock, designed by Sir Edmund Beckett, and bell are named after Sir Benjamin Hall, who was Commissioner of Works at the time of their installation in 1859.
