Letter from Richard Cromwell, Lord Protector, to General George Monck, 18th April 1660. Letter requesting Monck to use his interest with the Parliament to relieve him from liability for debts incurred on the public account, to avoid arrest for which he has been in hiding. In the hand of an amanuensis, with autograph signature and seal of the arms of Cromwell, six quarterings.
