Letter written from Kensington at midnight by Queen Mary II to Frances Lumley, Countess of Scarborough, one of the ladies of her bedchamber, announcing the news of the Battle of Steenkerque (24th July) and the safety of the King, (William of Orange) and Lord Scarborough.
