Letter written from Rome, in Italian, from Michelangelo to his father, Lodovico di Leonardo di Buonarotti di Simoni, at Florence, contradicting a rumour of his death, complaining that he has received no money from the Pope for thirteen months, and referring to a suit for dower of Monna Cassandra, widow of Francesco Buonarroti, his aunt.
