Andrew Clark, Senior Physician to the London Hospital, 1878. Clark served as physician to the London Hospital from 1866 to 1886. He was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Physiciansin 1858, and acquired a reputation as a teacher of medicine, as well as building up a large practice with Gladstone among his patients. He was elected President of the College in 1888 and President of the Royal Medical and Chirurgical Society in 1892. In 1885 Clark became a Fellow of the Royal Society.
