Muhammad Ali sending his son Ibrahim Pasha to put down the Saudi revolt, 1811-1818, (1847). The Ottoman Viceroy of Egypt, Muhammad Ali, sent the Egyptian army to Saudi Arabia after the Saudi Wahhabis captured Mecca. The Egyptians were victorious in 1818. A print from 19th Century Egypt, 1847.
