'Necropolis and Memnonium of Thebes, Egypt', c1808. Tombs in the Valley of the Kings and the temple, dedicated to the Egyptian god Amon, built by Rameses II in the 13th century BC. It was originally thought to be the 'memnonium' or famous tomb of Osymandyas.
