Mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, Deir el Bahari, Luxor, Egypt, 20th Century. Hatshepsut was a female Pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt whose rule (as co-regent with Thutmose III) lasted from 1479 to 1458 BC. Her mortuary temple was designed and built by the architect Senemut.
