Three Shabtis or servant figures from the tomb of Tutankhamun, 14th century BC. These figures were buried in tombs in Ancient Egypt. It was believed that they possessed spirits that would follow the deceased into the afterlife and perform manual tasks for them. From the Treasure of Tutankhamun (ruled 1333-1323 BC), discovered in the pharaoh's tomb and today kept at the Cairo Museum, Egypt.
