Senet gaming board, from Tutankhamun's tomb, 14th century BC. Made from wood veneered with ebony and inlaid with ivory. The tomb of the 18th Dynasty Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun (reigned 1333-1323 BC) was discovered in 1922 by the British archaeologist Howard Carter. Uniquely amongst Egyptian royal tombs, its contents were intact. From the collection of the Egyptian National Museum, Cairo, Egypt.
