The arrest of Francois Coppee, 1902. Coppee (1842-1908) was a French poet and novelist. Politically he was an extreme nationalist and was one of the founders of the Ligue de la Patrie Francaise, an organisation opposed to the supporters of Alfred Dreyfus.
