'Prince Consort's Tomb', 1880. The Royal Mausoleum at Frogmore near Windsor Castle in Berkshire, was built by Queen Victoria to contain the remains of her husband, Prince Albert, who died of typhoid in 1861 at the age of 42. An illustration from Windsor Castle and the Water-Way Thither by W H Davenport Adams, (Marcus Ward and Co, London, 1880).
