Gilt-bronze figure of seated lady, High Tang period, Tang dynasty, China, 684-756. A small secular bronze figure of a lady seated on a low plinth with one knee raised and one leg underneath. She is holding something but it is not clear what it is. Her hair is tied with a top-knot. The whole piece shows traces of gilding.
