Portrait of Thomas Howard, 4th Duke of Norfolk, and copies of letters written by him in 1572, (1840). The farewell papers were written immediately before Howard's execution in 1572. One is addressed to William Dyx, his steward, on the leaf of the New Testament. The other appears in a copy of Grafton's Chronicles.
