'The Cross, Banbury', Oxfordshire, 1910. Stone monument erected in 1859 to commemorate the marriage of Queen Victoria's daughter Victoria, the Princess Royal. The cross in the children's rhyme: Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross, was destroyed in the 17th century. One of the Moreland Series of postcards.
