'The Stela of Amenophis III, Cairo Museum, Egypt', 1905. This enormous stela, hewn out of black granite, is ten feet three inches high, five feet four inches wide, and thirteen inches thick. It bears the earliest mention of Israel of any of the exhibits in the National Museum of Egypt. Stereoscopic card. Detail.
