The death of Crazy Horse, Fort Robinson, Nebraska, USA, 1877 (c1900). Crazy (c1840-1877). Horse was a Lakota Indian war leader and one of the Native American commanders at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876. He was killed whilst trying to escape from the custody of the US Army at Fort Robinson on 5th September 1877.
