Showing the three candidates for the Westminster constituency in the 1784 general election, Samuel Hood, Charles James Fox and Cecil Wray, ending their race with Hood successful on a galloping horse, Fox close behind, and Wray outdistanced on a braying ass. In reality Hood and Fox secured the two seats with Wray a close third.
