Jan Rube, Swedish golfer. Rube was the most successful amateur golfer in Sweden between 1971 and 1981. During this period he played in all the major European and World championships. In 1973 he played the Old Course at St Andrews in 63 strokes, which was the course record for amateurs for many years.
