Crown Prince Gustav Adolf and Crown Princess Louise visit Landskrona, Sweden, 1932. The Prince and Princess at the inaguration of a monument to King Karl XI (1655-1697). Gustav Adolf became King of Sweden, as Gustav VI Adolf, in 1950, reigning until his death in 1973. Charles XI of Sweden commanded the Swedish army to victory over the Danes at the Battle of Landskrona in 1677 in the final major battle of the Scanian War. From the Landskrona Museum Collection.
