RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company's Office Building, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA, 1940. Postcard showing a view of the building at night. Built in 1929, the company's headquarters was designed by Shreve, Lamb, and Harmon, the architectural firm that later designed the Empire State Building in New York. It was the first skyscraper in the US to be built south of Baltimore.
