Portrait bust of the Duke of Cambridge, British soldier, 1898. A cousin of Queen Victoria, George William Frederick Charles, 2nd Duke of Cambridge, commanded a division in the Crimean War. He was Commander-in-Chief of the British Army from 1856-1895 and was made a Field Marshal in 1862.
