Eastwell Park, near Ashford, Kent, home of the Duke of Edinburgh, c1880. The house was built for George Finch Hatton in the late 18th century. It was rented by the Duke of Edinburgh, second son of Queen Victoria, from 1874 until 1893. A print from A Series of Picturesque Views of Seats of the Noblemen and Gentlemen of Great Britain and Ireland, edited by Reverend FO Morris, Volume VI, William Mackenzie, London, c1880. Wood-engraved plates after paintings by Benjamin Fawcett and Alexander Francis Lydon.
