Mutiny on Henry Hudson's ship, c1880. English navigator Henry Hudson was set adrift in a boat together with his son and seven others after the crew of his ship the 'Discovery' mutinied in Hudson Bay. Hudson had wished to continue his explorations of the region but his crew had had enough of the deprivations of the Arctic and wanted to return home. None of Hudson's party was ever seen again. A print from Cassell's History of the United States, by Edmund Ollier, Volume I, Cassell Petter and Galpin, London, c1880.
