Byzantine chapel, St Hilarion Castle, North Cyprus. Dating from the 10th century, St Hilarion Castle stands on top of a peak in the Kyrenia mountain range in northern Cyprus. It was originally a monastery, named after a monk who allegedly chose the site for his hermitage.
