Adler Planetarium, Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois, USA, 1941. Postcard showing a view of the planetarium showing the reflecting pool and landscaped parkway. Built in 1930 with funding provided by the philanthropist Max Adler, this was the first planetarium in the Western Hemisphere.
