NCB solid fuel promotion, 1967. In response to the Gas Board's promotions for their cleaner more efficient product, the National Coal Board (NCB) undertook a campain to promote their own product. With their slogan 'Solid Fuel, the cheapest to run of all', this stand at the Rawmarsh trades fair near Rotherham offered information on the loans available for installing coal fired heating. Samples of the product were available for inspection together with some of the fire place units with back boilers available at the time.
