Mackintosh's Quality Street, exploding tin advertisment shot, 1972. To create the effect of the chocolates expoding from the tin, a hole was cut in the bottom of the tin and compressed air blown through. Several attempts were made to achieve the desired effect in this photograph for Rowntree Macintosh.
