John Bright, British Radical and Liberal politician, 1869. 'Will the Sentimental Orator be Lost in the Practical Minister, or Will Both be Extinguished?'. Early in his political career, Bright (1811-1889) was one of the founders of the Anti-Corn Law League. He was noted as one of the finest parliamentary orators of his generation.
