Henry VII Chapel, Westminster Abbey, London, 18th century. The Henry VII Chapel was built in 1503 by Sir Reginald Bray. A fine example of Perpendicular architecture, the chapel is famous for its intricate fan vaulting. After his death in 1509 Henry VII was buried in the chapel in a tomb designed by the Italian sculptor and artist Pietro Torrigiani.
