Heading at the Edgar Allen Steel Foundry, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, 1962. Two workers with heading machines which were used for the final formation of product. The machines use horizontal reciprocating rams and stationary bolsters, and typical products produced by them would be items like bolts and the ends of the pneumatic drill heads seen in the picture.
