Walsh's department store in Sheffield prior to its redevelopment, South Yorkshire, 1967. The front of the store was to be demolished and rebuilt to accommodate the new road junction which incorporated the 'hole in the road' pedestrian walkway. Unusually, a 1960's American car is parked on the building site on the left of the picture.
