Neon sign of the Pioneer Club, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, 1951. Vintage linen postcard showing the Howdy Pardner sign, the largest mechanical sign in the world at the time. The cowboy figure was popularly known as 'Vegas Vic'. The Pioneer Club on Fremont Street was a casino that opened in 1942. It closed in 1995.
