Pierre Joseph Proudhon, French mulualist political philosopher, c1845-1868. Proudhon (1808-1868) advocated the complete reorganization of society and the abolition of all its trappings, including money and the state itself. He asked the question; 'What is property?', answering; 'Property is Theft'.
