Francois Severin Marceau-Desgraviers, French revolutionary soldier, 1793 (1882-1884). Marceau-Desgraviers (1769-1796) took part in the siege of the Bastille in 1789. He fought in the Republican army of La Vendee, and after being promoted to general, at Fleurus, Mainz, Mannheim and Coblenz. He was mortally wounded at the Battle of Altenkirchen in 1796.
