The Maillotins of Paris meet King Charles VI of France, 1382 (1882-1884). The Revolt of the Maillotins was one of a series of popular uprisings that erupted in 1382 in response to the raising of taxes by the king's uncles, who were regents of France (Charles was a minor at the time).
