Chrysler Building and Chrysler Building East, New York City, New York, USA, 1951. Vintage linen postcard showing the Chrysler Center buildings and the street in front of the building complex. This famous example of Art Deco architecture was commissioned by Walter P Chrysler and designed by William Van Alen. Built between 1926 and 1930 it was world's tallest building until the completion in 1931 of the Empire State Building.
