The Rockefeller Plaza outdoor ice skating rink, New York City, New York, USA, 1951. This famous Art Deco complex is made up of several buildings, fourteen of them built between 1931 and 1939. American industrialist John D Rockefeller (1839-1937) financed the project. The ice rink opened in 1936.
