Riverside Drive and the George Washington Bridge, New York City, New York, USA, 1933. Vintage linen postcard showing Riverside Drive in the foreground and the George Washington Bridge crossing the Hudson River leading into New York from New Jersey. The brdge was commissioned by the New York Port Authority in the 1920s. Designed by Othmar Ammann, it had the longest central span of any suspension bridge in the world at the time of its completion in 1931.
