Battery Park and Whitehall Building, New York City, New York, USA, 1916. Vintage postcard. Battery Park is a 25 acre public park at the southern tip of Manhattan Island. It is named for the artillery battery that used to be stationed there. The Whitehall Building is a 32-storey office building completed in 1911.
