Bacon delivery from Denmark, Kilnhurst, South Yorkshire, 1964. A Danish Bacon Company warehouseman checks in a lorry delivering imported bacon to their South Yorkshire depot. Danish Bacon made regular imports of bacon and other food products including cheese and lard through the port of Grimsby. From there they were transported by road to the Kilnhurst depot, from where they were then distributed nationwide.
