Stornoway Water Wheel, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland, 2009. This water wheel is part of a restored watermill originally built in 1816 but destroyed by fire in 1890. It generates hydroelectric power, which is used to provide lighting in the grounds of Lews Castle, in which the mill stands.
