Aerial view of the German battleship SMS 'Schlesien', from a Zeppelin, c1931 (1933). The 'Schlesien' ('Silesia') was a pre-dreadnought battleship launched in 1906. She saw service in the German Navy in both World Wars before being scuttled by her crew at Swinemunde in 1945.
