A katagogion in Kassope, Greece. A katagogion was a type of guest house where visitors would stay during a visit to a sanctuary. Kassope is one of the best preserved ancient Greek cities. It was the chief settlement of the Kassopaii, a Thesprotian tribe that broke away from the rest of the Thesprotians around 400 BC and formed an independent state.
