The Temple of Aphaea, Aegina, Greece. The Temple of Aphaea was built on the foundations of an earlier 6th century BC temple. A peripteral temple of six by 12 columns, it was dedicated to Aphaia, a Greek goddess who was worshipped exclusively at this sanctuary.
