Chapel of St James, Toledo Cathedral, Spain, 2007. Regarded as one of the great Gothic cathedrals, Toledo Cathedral was built between 1226 and 1493. The Chapel of St James was commissioned by High Constable Alvaro de Luna as his funeral chapel. Completed in c1498, it contains the tombs of Alvaro and his wife Dona Juana de Pimentel. The altarpiece is by Sancho de Zamora, Juan de Segovia and Pedro de Gumiel.
