The monks of Christ Church, Canterbury, expelled, 1207 (1864). Fulk de Cantelupe (d1217) and Henry de Cornhill (1120-1170) expel the monks of Canterbury Cathedral with drawn swords on the orders by King John in anger at the choice of Stephen Langton as Archbishop of Canterbury.
