Prince Arthur of Connaught (1883-1938) was the son of Arthur, Duke of Connaught, the third son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. He served with the Royal Scots Greys in the First World War, with the rank of major, and was aide-de-camp to Generals Sir John French and Sir Douglas Haig, commanders-in-chief of the British Expeditionary Force (BEF).
