Bomb blast opposite the offices of JP Morgan & Co, New York, USA, 16 September, 1920. At 12.01 pm on 16 September 1920, a bomb concealed in a horse-drawn wagon was detonated on a crowded Wall Street. The explosion killed 38 people and injured 400 more. The FBI investigated the crime for three years but was unable to identify the perpetrators, although anarchists of Italian origin were suspected to have been responsible.
