Highbury College, Islington, London, mid 19th century. Designed by John Davies, the building that housed Highbury College, a dissenting academy, was completed in 1826. Highbury College was amalgamated with New College London in 1854, after which the building was a teacher training school. It became a theological college in 1866, but was destroyed by fire in 1946.
